The internet here has been struggling again (surprise surprise), but I have finally be able to load the pictures and fun stuff from the last couple of days. I hope you enjoy because I know that I have.
Wednesdays are day-trip days here at the London Center. Today we took a trip out to Brighton and Bodiam Castle. It was such a beautiful day...especially for Brighton, which reminds me so much of California. It was almost like being home.
Our first stop in Brighton was the Brighton Royal Pavilion. This building was intense and totally unlike anything I have seen in London so far. It was built by George IV to show off his wealth and he totally succeeded. The inside is extremely ornate, very bright and oriental feeling. I wish I could have taken pictures of the inside...you should definitely google it or something.
Outside of the Royal Pavilion. Even the outside doesn't really look like a palace.
After the Pavilion we got to explore the pier and the beach. It was so great to be outside and just enjoy the fun activities they had going on.
Brighton pier was so much fun! Jordan and I dared to go on this huge ride at the end of the pier that swung us out over the water...it was kinda scary...but awesome. I wish we had more time to spend there.

See! Doesn't it look like a ocean-side Californian town.
After Brighton we got back on the bus and drove to Bodiam Castle. It was really cool to see a castle that was smaller and not really touched by the tourist industry.
Outside of Bodiam Castle (it has a moat!) with Dr. Durham, our director.
The land surrounding Bodiam Castle.
We got in a little trouble. haha
Stuck in the stocks.
After getting back to London, Jordan and I hit up one of our favorites...NANDOS! you seriously can't go wrong here.
